GENERAL FAQ (TO BE UPDATED)
IS THIS A FURRY GAME
If that's your thing bruh. But no in general it's just a general jamjar game with a gimmick. Characters can change as little or as much as you like.
WHAT KIND OF CHARACTERS CAN I APP?
Canon characters, OCs, AUs, and PG-AU (previous game-au) are allowed, however, only ONE of a character is allowed at a time, unless there are canon duplicates already like in Spiderverse.
Characters not allowed are: Characters under 10 years old (not counting robots and AIs and shit), Real life and historical figures, Hamilton characters, and uuuh idk anyone I forget but if I see them on the app page and remember I'll tell you then.
WHAT IS THE IC TIME?
This game is 1:1 with real life! But also this is heaven/heck, timespace is our bitch, don't really think too hard about it.
ARE CANON POWERS ALLOWED?
YES but you will be TURBO NERFED. Any uber powerful characters will find they have a house arrest anklet on one their legs, heaven or hell themed, that keeps their powers in check. Basically, level cap your world destroyers at 'level 30' across the board. Of course in personal fights or confrontations I don't really care what yall do as long as all parties agree ooc. Just don't try any game breaking shit.
Can we have a more complicated (or furry) DEMON or HEAVEN FORM for special occasions/when they're angry/that can be turned on and off??
Yes!! Play with this however you see fit.
Can we get new powers from our new forms?
Yes AND no! Basically:
-If it's just for ~flavor/vibes~ or totally harmless, yes! Example: having a no-swear zone aura, smelling like, coffee or something, animal instincts, your feet/shoes leaving fiery prints, aesthetic fire on body parts, etc, all that's okay. Also as established, if you have wings you can fly with them now.
-If you already have a canon power but are translating it to your new form-also okay! Example: A character who already can make fireballs can now also make them from their demon wings, or a character who does dbz lasers decides they can only do so from their halo now. Like that!
-Giving BRAND NEW offensive powers you never had before - BZZT not okay! If you want to get some new powers you're gonna have to make contracts bb.
This has been added to the FAQ! You should read the faq! If we catch anyone power gaming people we reserve the right to thread hop and have Abe/Lucy be like 'YOU DON'T HAVE THE PAPERWORK FOR THIS' and you will get a house arrest power nerf bracelet.
My character is a zombie/vampire/whatever do I still need to EAT PEOPLE?
If you wanna keep all your undead monster quirks and weaknesses feel free, or you can nerf them. Get player permission if you're gonna go around chewing on folks tho.
My Angel/Hellsona has wings! CAN I FLY?
You can't fly between realms but if you give yourself wings yes you can fly around the cities/garden!
Do I have to humanize my character for the game?
Nope! If you wanna App Louis Beastars you can be your weird human feet deer self. HOWEVER if your character is abnormally large they must be shrank down so they an fit in a hotel.
DO THEY HAVE TO STAY IN THE HOTEL???
Not..not really I guess you do you.
WHAT'S THIS ABOUT CONTRACTS??
Characters may feel the compulsion to try and bargain for each other's souls! If a PC buys someone's soul, they can have power over them in some way you all oocly agree with. This can be as silly as "I get to make you go to bed on time" or compelling them to tell the truth.
CAN CHARACTERS GET JOBS?
Yes!! If you want to say your character got a job, it is encouraged that you do so! While the hotel amenities are free, they DO have to pay for anything outside of them. Capitalism is fucked up even after you die. However 'payment' can be anything from 'do x numbers of good deeds' to actual weird heaven or hell currency, idc.
CAN I SAY XYZ EXISTS?
As long as it's fitting for the setting! A reminder: Casinos, sex clubs, and drug depots are only found in hell, and nice beaches, coffee shops, and churches can only be found in heaven.
CAN MY CHARACTER CHANGE ALL AT ONCE OR CAN I PACE IT OUT?

You can handwave asking Abe or Lucy in the garden, they will tell you!
I WANT TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND OTHER NPCS!!!
Abe and Lucy will ONLY be out in arrival posts and explaining event posts. This is NOT a plot driven game in the least, so there is no big bad or higher power for them to find and try to overthrow or takeover and what not.
IS THERE A MEME COMM? OR A NETWORK COMM?
NO I HATE CLUTTER SO MUCH, 2 COMMS ONLY, FINAL DESTINATION. All memes can be posted to the ooc comm, and any 'text' or network posts can be posted to the main IC comm like normal.
Why do the layouts suck??

How Does Activity Check work??

Hmmm. Could the Sheeps possibly have explained to him that he needs contracts to unlock his regular form? I wanna say 3-- but with only 1 ~requiring~ a PC contract. The other two could be NPCs OR PCs, depending on if anyone else is interested. Is that cool?
I'm totally cool being flexible with this stuffs so it works well in the setting ^^
Apologies for the edit, but I have an additional question. Is Abby allowed to keep his canon contract mechanisms? Briefly explained here. Obviously, the effectiveness/span of his powers would be appropriately nerfed. I just get brain-happiness being able to incorporate a unique mechanic from the game =3

As for his canon stuff:
1) Okay as is!
2) Okay as is!
3) Nerfed since it'd be a bit difficult to determine how everyone else in the game perceives someone.
4) This is kinda vague so could you define it for folks a bit more solidly? My suggestion would be:
-Can alter emotions in his contractee (ie raise their anger or sadness with ooc permission; i would say power and knowledge does not count)
-OR he can give them water magic, so one or the other! (assuming that's what 'water energy' means)
- Unsure if Extremely Painful means for him or others??
5) Nerf- he can NOT just dole out new abilities for people without forming a new contract with them (ie they'd have to give HIM their soul), and if so, it's limited to one minor ability that makes sense for the character. So for example maybe an idol can get a singing power, but they couldn't get [and now my arm turns into a machine gun] lol
6) I will ask just to fully nerf this one cuz that's a Lot lol. Can still use fire energy tho assuming that's just fire magic!

As for the contract stuff, I am very okay with nerfing! I wrote that contract explain thingy with how they work in his game (or how it would work for a PSL), but I do not expect it to work like that in THIS game and I realized I should have created a better explanation of how I imagine the nerfing to go here ^^;;
Lemme explain how I was thinking these nerfs will play out, and you let me know if it's okay or I need to fix anything! :)
3) Perception of ~Random NPCs~ can be changed. Players could OPT IN if they want, but it's not required. For example, Nick makes a deal to be a rockstar, so this part of the contract, Abby makes it so he gets random fan clubs. Players MAY join the fanclubs/be influenced by the magic (to make everyone perceive Nick as awesome) or they can be like dude no. Also in game effectiveness would be compromised. Maybe the fan club is small, or doesn't last that long. I blame this on the Power Band.
4) I am sorry for the confusion! My brain is a beast. I have created a walk-through example of how this would play out 'normally' (spiffied up his contract page) BUT, along the same lines as air, I think it should only effect NPCs unless a player WANTS their character to be affected, too.
5) Of course! These new 'sources of support', whatever they are, would be downplayed to fit the game. Maybe he can help them unlock an ability they had that is locked (if it works in game) maybe, he'll cause NPCs to just start throwing money at your character. Effectiveness will also vary, thank you, Power Band.
6) PRICES would be downplayed accordingly, you pricey bastard Abby. Instead of those things I mentioned it could be like... a precious memory belonging to yourself/yourlove/your family. The love you have for your favorite book. Your mom's ability to make those cookies you like. The HIGHEST price would be capped by the game-- just someone's own soul. Maybe someone else's if all players are in agreement. (Suzzy Promises Abby Harry's Soul but the Harry player is down to clown) I am cool having this be not allowed though. Just a thought!
Accordingly WISHES would also be downscaled. Can't wish for anything that breaks the game. I also created a better explanation for what happens with the 'energy' you get from contracting him-- it turns into magic stones. What can they do? Nothing that breaks the game either XD; Kind of like a one-shot 'Free Water Magic' or something. Like a spell scroll or some Free SP.

And yes for wishes basically nothing TOO HUGE. Again any powers granted need to fit the character, and no giving anything like a giant yacht or whole building or a dozen guns or something. Gotta let folks work for shit!!
