Who Can be Apped?
Canon characters, OCs, AUs, and PG-AU (previous game-au) are allowed, however, only ONE of a character is allowed at a time, unless there are canon duplicates already like in Spiderverse.
Characters not allowed are: Characters under 10 years old (not counting robots and AIs and shit), Real life and historical figures, Hamilton characters, and uuuh idk anyone else I forgot
But WHO CAN APP player wise??
This is a public free for all jamjar! You do NOT have to know me to app! However, I still reserve to right to reject any app I deem unfit, and furthermore if I get several complaints about you for Actual Decent Reasons, for your sake and mine I will politely ask you not to app. If you aren't sure, just ask me ahead of time!!
How many characters can I app??
Starting Nov 1st 2024, you can app up to THREE CHARACTERS--BUT you need to have played your previous characters at least a month prior to apping the next one.

Character & Canon Name: Cupid (Lynette Mirror) from Cupid Parasite
Character Age: 300 something which is super BABY for gods (looks like she's 24)

Personality: Obsessed with love and matchmaking, Cupid has been raised by her military father Mars for the past few hundred years not allowed to question it or do anything but shoot her arrows to make perfect matches. However, after getting into an argument with Mars about her declining success rate, her Aunt Minerva shows her movies and social media from the human realm. Social Media's #Cupid posts are all about a human company doing matches better than her, so she descends to Los York to study Romantic Psychology and try matchmaking the human way. It goes awry when as the top bridal advisor of the company, she gets assigned the five worst members of the company that all the other bridal advisors agree should just be kicked out of the membership program. She's sweet, helpful, caring, ridiculously naive, and downright innocent sometimes, but she can be very strict, and is still strong enough to defy even the God of War to prove herself.
Power Summary: Golden Arrows make people infatuated for 30 days. ICly she cannot be separated from the bow, it's in a necklace form around her neck, and she's unaware that the Golden Arrows in fact use her life force, but her IC goal is to prove to Mars (Daddy) that the human methods are superior to the antiquated Gods' ways. It's canonically faster than guns, and more powerful than anything (because LOVE) but she can't use it on demons or they will die, and likewise, she is in danger of Demon attention if she undoes the dampener to help her disguise herself. There are also dispel/neutralizing arrows that can be done on bad matches / anyone who wants to forget their ex, or break from super toxic relationships, and this will help restore her life force, but she's the 88th cupid because all the others have failed at maintaining the correct balance and used up their life force. OOC I would like to have a sign up sheet for anyone who wants to sign up for the matchmaking, but ICly, she'll try to use her 4 years of romantic psychology & 3 more of practical application in the company, since that's her DREAM.
- She does ICly assume demons will want to eat her though (even if it's modified to protect her she wouldn't know without being told), as god(desse)s souls' are extra delicious to them. Her human roommate and best friend of 7 years (college + works as a systems engineer in the company) is a succubus though, so she's not against them, just reasonably cautious. She also can't get drunk on alcohol, but chocolate is "devil's food" and makes her SUPER DUPER drunk!

NERF NOTES:
While her arrows can keep all their effects, they are 100% opt in! Please make an opt-in post OR when using them let the other player decide if they work or not! Additionally, instead of 'fall in love for 30 days' they will vary from anywhere from 'one day' to a 'couple weeks' ie basically player preference cuz who has time for a 30 day status effect in this economy. Being faster than guns is also player preference because gestures half the people in this game are faster than guns somehow.
RE: them being toxic/death sentences to demons, a-okay to keep for all npc imps and sinners/demons, but opt in for demon players (can have a lessened effect like they pass out or get tummy hurty disease or whatever. But yea can mcfucking kill them if the other player wants it, sure). Additionally if you want excuses for her arrows missing anyone at any time feel free to say an imp/cherub bobbled in the way, as they do.
Before playing (or continuing to play), please do the following:
-Join the IC comm and OOC comms! You won't be able to access the main comm til you join!
-Please follow the the Main Game Plurk! Announcements will always be posted to the OOC comm but it's likely you'll notice them on Plurk first!
-Complete your character's entry on the TAKEN LIST at the Google Spreadsheet here! You can make a new row in your appropriate domain, and be sure to link to a profile/info post! (or if you can't figure it out just comment here and I'll do it for you lmao)
-Please note, the above Taken List is also where you'll fill out your A/C for Activity Checks (last column).
Other than that you're all gravy!! There will be an OOC and IC intro post either tomorrow or on the 2nd for newbies, so keep an eye out for that (but you are free to just tag in other posts/make your own posts before that too if you want). Thank you!
